John Rosenow
I had the privilege of working with John early on in my career. I didn’t know it at the time, but, when he was the Director of the Department of Tourism for the state, he promoted the iconic “Nebraska - the Good Life” state motto, which still rings true, and can be seen on highways around the state today. From there he went on to start The National Arbor Day Foundation. He had spent time with Mort, a caretaker of the J. Sterling Morton Farm, and became a huge proponent for planting trees - for a better planet. Stable, level-headed, slow to make decisions - incredibly thoughtful - he truly embodied the best of strong-yet-gentle leadership.John is among a select few that made a global impact by espousing the ethos of the State of Nebraska in these United States of America.
